Room Experience
The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. While not overly spacious, the design makes good use of every inch, keeping the space comfortable and uncluttered. Our bed was cozy and quiet — ideal for getting a good night’s rest after long days of sightseeing. Spotless upkeep and attention to detail were evident throughout our stay.
First Impression & Location
Staying at The Oriental Jade Hotel was a great introduction to Hanoi. The location in the Old Quarter is perfect — just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, bustling night markets, coffee spots, and local eateries. Although the streets outside are lively, stepping inside the hotel instantly feels calm and welcoming, offering a peaceful base to retreat to after exploring the city.
Hotel Facilities & Atmosphere
One of the standout features is the rooftop pool and bar, which offers a relaxed space to unwind with a drink and views of the city skyline. The hotel also has spa and fitness facilities, providing more ways to relax during your stay. Across all areas, the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming — going the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable.
Hotel Dining
Breakfast here was a highlight. There was a nice range of both Vietnamese and Western options, fresh fruit, and strong coffee to kickstart the day. Many guests remark that it’s one of the better hotel breakfasts they had in Hanoi — satisfying and flavorful, with plenty of variety.
