First Impression & Location
I stayed at The Peninsula Beijing for a few nights and honestly, the location was one of the biggest highlights. It’s right in Wangfujing, so stepping outside you’re immediately surrounded by shops, restaurants, and street life. That said, once you walk into the hotel, everything suddenly feels quiet and calm — a really nice contrast after a long day out in Beijing.
Room Experience
The room was a full suite and much larger than I expected, especially for a city hotel. The design felt modern but not cold, with subtle Chinese details that made it feel special. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I loved how everything in the room — lights, curtains, temperature — could be controlled easily. It genuinely felt like a space you could relax in, not just sleep.
Food & Facilities
I tried breakfast at the hotel and was impressed by the variety. There were both Chinese and Western options, and everything felt well prepared rather than mass-produced. I also spent some time at the pool and gym, which were quiet and well maintained. It was nice to unwind there after walking around the city all day.
